School Council Reps

Who We Are

Article 12 of the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child (UNCRC) states that children and young people should have a say in decisions that affect their lives. A School Council can provide a meaningful way in which students can voice their opinions and have their views taken into account in decisions which impact upon them. Experience shows that a School Council that is supported and nurtured helps to improve many aspects of school life. Our School Council members apply for the position and are interviewed. Our role is to represent the views of our classmates.

What We Do

We meet to discuss and sort problems. School Council Representatives are responsible for carrying out ideas to help improve our school environment for all students.
