Students at Gildredge House are celebrating today as they receive their GCSE results after months of waiting. Amid the chaos of the A Level results last week, Year 11 students waited with baited breath to see what was going to happen to their grades. Fortunately, they were awarded the Centre Assessed Grades they so richly deserved.
Stuart Reeves, Head Teacher, commented, “I am delighted that all the hard work that our students have put in has been recognised, and I congratulate them all on what they have achieved. This has been such a difficult and uncertain year for students and I commend them on their resilience and ability to cope during these challenging times. I must also pay tribute to the fantastic effort my staff have put in over the last five years and, in particular, during lockdown”.
We now look forward to welcoming students to our Sixth Form as they continue their educational journey.
