A Level Results 2021
We are extremely proud of our students’ hard work and achievements. Students’ resilience and perseverance, despite the difficult circumstances, has shone through during this last academic year. We were lucky to be able to offer a blended learning provision of face-to-face and online lessons throughout the national lockdown period. This has enabled our students to achieve an impressive set of A Level results, preparing them for the next stage of their educational journey.
GCSE Results 2020
Students at Gildredge House are celebrating today as they receive their GCSE results after months of waiting. Amid the chaos of the A Level results last week, Year 11 students waited with baited breath to see what was going to happen to their grades. Fortunately, they were awarded the Centre Assessed Grades they so richly deserved.
A Level Results 2020
As a school, we are extremely proud of our students’ hard work and achievements. I am delighted that, despite the difficult circumstances, the majority of our students have progressed onto the next stage of their educational journey. Despite the obvious challenges that this year group have faced, we are excited to see so many of our students offered places at high achieving universities. The majority of our students have achieved grades that enables them to attend their first choice university, apprenticeship programme or enter into employment. As a small, student-focused Sixth Form, we pride ourselves on developing a range of skills and attributes, allowing students to leave us with much more than just academic results.

Coronavirus Update: Parent Survey to Follow
We continue to follow advice from the Government. Staff are working incredibly hard to provide an educational provision for your children both at school and at home. We are still awaiting further advice on what constitutes a Key Worker and, when we receive this, we will resend the recent survey to establish which parents will be sending their children to school on Monday.
Coronavirus Update: School Closure
You will be aware that the Prime Minister has today announced that schools will be closed for all but the most vulnerable of students and for children of key workers. Therefore, Gildredge House will close from Friday 20th March for the majority of children. We will be operating a reduced staff structure in order to provide for a small number of students. The students I expect in school are from two key groups:
