We are extremely proud of our students’ hard work and achievements. Students’ resilience and perseverance, despite the difficult circumstances, has shone through during this last academic year. We were lucky to be able to offer a blended learning provision of face-to-face and online lessons throughout the national lockdown period. This has enabled our students to achieve an impressive set of A Level results, preparing them for the next stage of their educational journey.
As a student-focused Sixth Form, we pride ourselves on developing a range of skills and attributes, allowing students to leave us with much more than just academic results. So many of our students have accepted places at high achieving Universities. The majority of our students have achieved grades that enable them to attend their first choice University, Apprenticeship Programme or enter into employment. This year, we have also supported students progressing into the Armed Forces.
We are proud to be able to celebrate not only students’ results, but also the enormous progress all students have made since joining Gildredge House. All students have contributed across all areas of school life and have been instrumental in supporting the development of the school and growing the Sixth Form into what it is today. This Year Group have been exemplary members of our school community and, for this, I thank them and wish them every success in their future endeavours.
Miss J Graffham, Director of Sixth Form
