Gildredge House U15 met Cardinal Newman Catholic School in NatWest Schools Cup

It’s been a long and busy week - and it’s not over yet! Today, staff have been hard at work on continuous professional development. On the Rugby pitch, meanwhile, this afternoon our U15s enjoyed their clash with a strong Cardinal Newman team in the NatWest Schools Cup.

Mrs Gilbert appointed Head Teacher Designate of Brookhouse Runda, an all-through school in Nairobi, Kenya

The Chair of Governors of Gildredge House Free School Trust, Mr Julian Mace, has announced the resignation of the Head Teacher, Mrs Lea Gilbert. Mrs Gilbert has been appointed as Head Teacher Designate of Brookhouse Runda, an all-through school in Nairobi, Kenya, and will leave Gildredge House at the end of April 2017.

Rugby Football Union Film Students at Gildredge House

This week we have welcomed representatives from the England RFU who came in to make a film about our Year 10 Rugby team. I am proud that they are taking part in the prestigious Nat West Schools Cup this year for the first time.

Students Settle into a Second Week at Gildredge House

We have settled into the second week of our two-week timetable, as well as an incredibly full schedule of Twilight Activities. With 71 individual clubs on offer for students, as well as a further 16 exclusively for Sixth Form, the range of activities is broader than ever.
