Gildredge House Students Vote in the GH EU Referendum

As the country comes to terms with the result of the EU Referendum, Gildredge House has also had some opportunities this week to consider matters of democracy, tolerance and British values. On Tuesday we held two assemblies for Years 7, 8 and 9, which introduced students to an understanding of the European Union and of what is involved in a Referendum.

A Midsummer Night's Celebration

On Tuesday we held a Midsummer Night’s Celebration of the Queen’s 90th Birthday and 400th year of Shakespeare’s death. The Atrium was decorated with a spectacular display of Union Jack bunting and balloons for the occasion as well as patriotic table decorations.

Gildredge House Cricket Week

The sun has shone brightly on our Cricket Week. The Sport Department have managed an incredible 9 fixtures involving our students – both home and away – over the course of the last five days, culminating in a number of students and staff attending the wonderful Lashings event at the Saffrons this evening.
