Sixth Form Students into the British Mathematical Olympiad

Three of our talented Sixth Form Mathematics students have performed exceptionally well in the UKMT Senior Maths Challenge. Joseph Hills in Year 13 and Cameron Wright and Michael Thompson from Year 12 achieved Gold certificates and have also qualified for the British Mathematical Olympiad round 1.

Gildredge House Present on Eastbourne Youth Radio

I was also impressed with the Sixth Form in their contribution to this week’s other major activity: the Eastbourne Youth Radio Broadcast yesterday morning from 7.00 – 8.00am. The centre-piece was an interview with the Economics students, who shared their respectfully opposing views on Brexit.

Remembrance Service at Gildredge House

The sun shone very brightly on today’s Remembrance event and allowed everyone in the secondary sections to participate in our annual commemoration on the Plaza.

Gildredge House students win the Ian Gow Memorial Cup

While we were all on half term holiday, three of our Year 9 students were representing the school in the Ian Gow Memorial Cup public speaking competition at the Winter Garden theatre.
