It's all downhill from here! A History of Skiing by Mr Pyemont

The Year 7s were given a real treat in the form of a wonderfully informative talk on ‘The History of Skiing’ by brothers Peter and Christopher Pyemont. Peter and Christopher came prepared with a range of equipment dating back 100 years to the time when skiing really ‘took off’ as a leisure activity.

Gildredge House welcomes Barry Johnston

The school had a very special visit yesterday from Barry Johnston, eldest son of TV and radio journalist and commentator, Brian Johnston, who was the inspiration for one of our pastoral Houses.

Site development gathers pace

Once again it’s been a busy week on site. The soil stabilisation is now complete and for the first time it is possible to get a clear idea of where everything is going to be.

A Wonderful World of Books!

Yesterday’s World Book Day gave us another opportunity to come together as a Community to celebrate. Many of our children (and staff) rose to the challenge of dressing as their favourite book character.
